#BermudaIsWorthProtecting Art Contest

Show why you know #BermudaIsWorthProtecting! Bermuda Ocean Prosperity Programme (BOPP), Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute (BUEI), and Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) are excited to host a digital art contest to showcase our island’s ocean spaces and inhabitants.

Entries must depict some part of Bermuda’s coast or ocean. This could include your favourite coastal or ocean areas, animals, plants, or memories!

Art does not need to depict specific species but if you do choose to draw a recognisable animal or plant, please be sure it is local to Bermuda. Follow these links to learn more about local species and habitats.

Submissions are welcome in the form of photography, illustrations, digital art, videos, animations, high-resolution scans of drawings or paintings, or high-resolution photographs of three-dimensional artwork (such as collages or sculptures).

All submissions will receive a swag bag, and a top prize will be selected within each age category.

Prizes will be given in the following categories: 6-10, 11-14, 15-17, and 18+. There will also be a separate people's choice award chosen by top votes at the World Oceans Day open house on June 3, 2023 at Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo.
